Comments from Campers

“Thank you so much for a wonderful dive camp! I learned so much, and it made me a lot more confident on the board. Especially thank you for teaching me my twister. That was the last dive I needed in order to make Varsity Diving at the high school. Thank you once again, and I hope to see you next year!”

“I have never had so much attention from coaches in my experience with diving yet. After I came back home from your camp I felt like I actually knew what I was doing for once. I also had a great time at the Dobie (Center Dorm). The counselors always kept us busy with something to do. I am looking forward to coming back next year and putting forth that extra effort to try hard, and maybe get that Will-To-Win Award again. Again, thank you, and I will see you next year.”

“I was just writing to say that I had a really, really great time at camp. It was a great experience and I learned a lot of new skills and met a lot of very cool, new, interesting people. The coaches this year were great. The counselors were very fun as well, and always made sure we were ready! Anyways, I just wanted to write and say that I hope to come back next year because I had such a great time this year!”

Comments from Parents

“Becca Scoggin, Director of UT Dive Camp, was extremely approachable and helpful in working out details for my daughter’s first away from home camp. She loved the dive camp and felt like she learned more in one week than she did all year with the HS diving coach. Staff was fun but extremely professional, facilities amazing. We hope to go for 2 weeks this next year.”
"I know (my daughter) had a wonderful time and learned so much not only about diving but about life, being away, and friendships (all positive).   She's already planning roommates from other dive teams!!!!"

“My son attended the dive camp in 2007. He had a wonderful time and learned an incredible amount at the camp. He’s heard nothing but compliments on his skills by the coaches from our entire region. I’d like to thank you for running a top notch camp that fully lived up to its claims and deserves its great reputation.”
“Our son had a terrific experience and learned so much this past week. We just wanted to tell you how impressed we are with UT Dive Camp! All the great things we’ve heard about you and Coach Scoggin are absolutely true! Our son is already looking forward to diving with you next summer.”

"Our goal for the Longhorns Diving Camp is to create a healthy atmosphere for learning that is safe, exciting and enjoyable. The Longhorns Diving Camp challenges divers to experience the joy of making positive mechanical changes that allow them to learn many diving skills in a short period of time. Diving Camp can be one of the best times of a young diver’s life, knowing that he or she has improved diving skills tremendously and has had an opportunity to meet other divers from around the nation." ~ Coach Matt Scoggin
